During the last weeks Alpina made further tests with FIA Institute with emphasis on fine tuning of our highspeed-barrier to dissipate more energy within short distance, to keep G-forces on drivers within acceptable limits and to minimise the risk of injuiries.
An additional investigation of a new layout of our highspeed front panel will be done within the next time too. The aim will be to avoid penetration and going over and under and the results of these tests will be very important for the improvement of existing tyre barriers with regards to penetration and with regards to their effectiveness to manage higher velocities in less space.
